Project: Yunwu Tea
Yunwu means "mist" in Chinese. Yunwu tea is from Mount. Yunwu in Yunnan Province, China, where the endless tea hills grow peacefully, with an altitude of up to 1583 meters. There are many peaks, undulating hills, ravines, and four distinct seasons, sufficient heat and abundant rainfall. All entail mist around tea farms.
Yunwu tea is also known as‘BirdKing tea’, because of an ancient village, Bird King Village, in Yunwu Town. This is an area where the tea tree germplasm resources are relatively concentrated. The unique climate and soil in the local area have bred an ancient tea species-Guiding Bird King Tea. This variety has strong cold tolerance, strong drought tolerance, strong tenderness, high germination density, high yield and excellent texture. According to the test data, one bud and one leaf bird king spring tea contains 31.67% of tea polyphenols and 2.18% of amino acids. The content of both is much higher than that of other tea grown in Yunwu Mountain.
With the rise of the new middle class, the consuming experience has been continuously upgraded, and the direction of consumption has moved from "survival" to "developmental and progressive". Therefore, for the gradually younger, fashionable and personalized market, it is necessary to abandon the traditional design, describe the unique understanding and emotions of tea culture, interpret unique "Bird King" super symbols, and create an unique "Bird King" tea.
This is a stylish tea to convey a bold lifestyle attitude of free and fashionable spirits: "Keep exploring in the mist". The designers draw illustrations that show different birds in uniform, all of them are very confident, as they are ready to lead an army. The decoration of the canister corresponds to the brand name "Yunwu", and the outer box uses tracing paper to further echo "Mist". The bottles inside use the colors of birds, also making them seem like gemstones.
